Misleading Information in the News: Editorial

The ability of the News Media to label a particular medical therapy as mistaken or misleading is rather astonishing. In fact, that was the subject of the Congressional Judiciary Committee hearing, featuring the questioning of the chief executives of Google, Facebook, Amazon, and Apple which lasted for over five hours

That “truth” is now decided in the media and not in scientific journals and studies is a terrible thing and is now manipulated by one side of the political spectrum. In the case of the Corona Virus Pandemic, this has already resulted in the terrible spread of this virus and lock-downs that have caused tremendous economic dislocation.

It also puzzling how government leaders can thrown hundreds of millions of dollars at the Virus Pandemic without even having a solution whereas they could stop the virus for $20 per treatment with Hydroxychloroquine, Zinc, and Azithromycin. There is an alternative that Ivermectin can be used instead for a treatment cost of $35.00.  Why should the United States spend money for pie-in-the-sky solutions when the antidote is already in our hands? And why is the experience of frontline doctors in clinical and office settings discounted simply because a six month double blind study has not been made. If a doctor reports that of 300 patients with breathing problems and other symptoms is cured in five days without one death, why is that dismissed? The only possible answer is the hundreds of millions of dollars being thrown at the giant drug companies for research.
